ANEWAL Gallery（アニュアルギャラリー）は元錦糸問屋だった築１２０年の京町家を私達自らで設計・改修を行い、母屋の一階をギャラリーとして開放、アート・デザインの領域・可能性の再検証を目的としてディレクター・デザイナー・アーティスト・学生を中心に運営しています。
ANEWAL Gallery has managed mainly the director designer artist and the student we own designing, repairing the person of the capital town for old former [kinshi] wholesale store 120 years, opening the first floor of the main building as a gallery, and aiming at the further validation of the area and the possibility of the art & design.
アニュアルギャラリーは中庭や襖等の間仕切りを用いた日本家屋の特徴を活かし、用途や目的によってフレキシブルに空間を使うことができます。当ギャラリーではこのような特徴ある空間を用い、展示・演奏会・ワークショップ・映像上映等の様々な催しを行っております。
ANEWAL Gallery makes the best use of the feature of a Japanese house where the partition was used between the courtyard and the sliding door, etc. , and can use the space flexibly by the usage and the purpose. Various meetings such as the exhibition, the concert workshops, and the image screening are done by using such a space with the feature in this gallery.
私たちは従来のギャラリー機能に加え、社会的な役割を「視点の発信」と「人と人、人と場所を繋げる事」と考えます。その活動の場所を自らのギャラリーに限定することなく街の様々な場所やそこに暮らす人々との対話の中から企画・行動し、社会とアート・デザインの関わり方・在り方を探り実践してゆく「外に出るギャラリー」を目指しています。
We think a social role in addition to a past gallery function to be "Send of the aspect" and "Thing to connect the person to the person, the person, and the place". It plans, it acts, it searches for how for relations and what should be of the art design with the society, and it aims at practiced "Gallery that goes out" from among the conversation with people who live various places and there in the town without limiting the place of the activity to an own gallery.
